The weekend began with snow flurries as my daughters and I drove toward the national forest, north of Mountain View Arkansas. The weather was cold and breezy, but there had been no rain for a couple of days. We packed in three miles, set up camp, and settled in for the evening. We passed the night comfortably with a fire, smores, and a nice chat. On Sunday morning the overcast passed and the day turned warm and clear for the hike out.
